 Flower's Today: February 6 Meme
It's - 2C, the snow is flying, the garden path is sleek ice. But I did it! I found a flower to participate in this weeks "Flower's of Today" meme! I cheated a little. It's a paperweight.

I love paperweights. My interest is inspired by my Mom who has a large glass collection with many varieties, varying age and styles. She gave me this one which is a newer one but I love it none the less. If your intrigued by paperweights and their history, read more at Delaware Valley Paperweight Collectors Associations.

Now I am off to view all the other glorious flowers and take in their warmth! I am hoping they help me shake off the winter cold.

Love it! Draws the eye in and makes you wonder what this is. Lovely shape and colors. Thanks Miss Kodee for the compliment on Gingee's stunning looks! That picture down below of the romp in the snow is spectacular!

So nice to have something blooming in the winter even if it is ice flowers on a window pane or, as in your case, a paper weight.

Well spotted!

I have one paper weight a friend gave me as a gift and never told me what it was so I thought it was a pretty glass ornament. Now I know.

Yours is so pretty.

I read your blog where people really collect them.

Oh I better not go there.

My house of plates and all is enough. My place is beginning to look like a gift shop my hubby tells me. he is right. Along with my antique buffet and other old antique furniture.

One day I will have to part with it all. If I ever have to go into a Apartment in town.

That would be too hard. So best for me to admire yours.
